Gala Evening Plenary: The Compass for Navigating Tomorrow

Our world is both vibrant and turbulent. The central anchors that secured the world and regional order have come adrift. Scientific and technological innovations are increasing the pace of change in our lives. At a time when the present is complicated and frenetic, what are the values that remain steady? What compass can we use to navigate our course towards tomorrow?

President's Award:

 

President Shimon Peres will confer the President’s Award to Dr. Henry Kissinger for his significant contribution to the State of Israel and to humanity. The President’s Award is conferred by the President of Israel to express his appreciation and esteem to deserving individuals and organizations who have contributed their talents and efforts for the well-being of the State of Israel and to Tikkun Olam.

 

Musical Program:

 

Selection of musical items to be performed by Colin Schachat (Baritone) and Daniella Lugassy (Soprano) accompanied by the renowned Raanana Symphonette Orchestra conducted by Karin Ben-Josef.

 

 

The plenary will be simultaneously translated into Hebrew, English, Arabic, French, and Russian.
