The Israeli Presidential Conference: Facing Tomorrow 2009

The Israeli Presidential Conference Steering Committee has reserved rooms in several leading hotels in Jerusalem for our guests.

For your convenience, we strongly encourage you to book your lodging through the Israeli Presidential Conference registration website   www.presidentconf.org.il or you may otherwise contact   reservations@presidentconf.org.il.

      Flights, Transportation and VIP services:
      El Al Israel airline is the official carrier of the 2009 Israeli Presidential Conference.
      El Al is offering discounted tickets to Conference guests.
      Please approach your local El Al office for details.
         As part of your Conference registration process, we are pleased to offer you assistance in reserving flights, airport
      transfers, ground transportation requirements and other VIP services. Please select the relevant services you desire by
      completing the registration process on the Israeli Presidential Conference registration website. Again, you may

Participation in Israeli Presidential Conference Events taking place at the International Convention Centre are Complimentary
Please be advised the following Conference admission procedures:


You will be admitted into the Conference arena upon the presentation of your confirmed participation slip, previously sent to you by email.

Name tags will be provided for all participants, we request that you wear them at all times while at the Conference arena.


 In order to avoid security-related complications, please be advised that weapons and cameras of all kinds, are prohibited in the Conference arena. We recommend that you arrive early and avoid bringing hand bags and electronic devices.


Plenary Session Attendance at Teddy Hall

Limited seats are available for the plenary sessions. Admission will be granted upon the presentation of an entrance ticket, which will be provided at the information counters throughout the Conference, the hours preceding the session.


Distribution of Tickets

Morning Plenary Sessions - tickets will be available in the morning

Afternoon Plenary Sessions - tickets will be available until 14.00.

Evening Plenary Sessions - tickets will be available from 17.00

Large screens in the lobby and the exhibition hall will have live telecast of all plenary sessions for guests unable to obtain tickets.



Conference Website

Plenary sessions will be available in real time on the Conference website www.presidentconf.org.il .

In addition, a select number of panels will be continuously broadcast on the Conference Website.

The website will continuously be updated with photos, articles and events taking place at the Conference.

The Conference will be broadcast on your cellular phone for members via *22 – radio, and for generation 3 members – video.



For your convenience, simultaneous translation into Hebrew, Arabic, English, Russian and French will be provided for all plenary sessions. Simultaneous translation into Hebrew and English will be provided for all panels.

Internet Access

Internet booths will be set up at the Conference arena for the convenience of our guests. Furthermore, a wireless network will also be set up for guests' use in the public areas of the Conference arena.


Communication and Press Services

A communication center, equipped with press services, will operate in the Conference arena, located in proximity of the Oranim corridor . Use of the communication center will require advance notice at the Information counters.


A light buffet will be provided for our guests at their expense, in the Pinkus and Teddy halls throughout the Conference.

Lunch will be served in the exhibition hall between 12.30 and 15.00, for our guests, at their expense.

Lunch coupons may be purchased from the cashier at the "Coffee Bean" café (the Exhibition, Teddy and Pinkus halls) as well as in the restaurant which will be operating in the Exhibition hall; purchases must be made in New Israeli Shekels or with a credit card.

A complimentary cocktail service will be provided for our guests throughout the opening event.

Food and beverages served at the Conference arena will be kosher.



For your convenience, Information counters will be set up throughout the Conference arena.

Cloak Room

A secure cloak room is available for Conference guests for the duration of the Conference and will be located next to registration area of Conference arena.



A synagogue exists in the Conference arena and open for our guests for the duration of the Conference.


There will be wheel chair access for entry into the Conference arena.



Parking will be available at grounds adjacent to the Jerusalem International Convention Centre: National Car Park and National Insurance Car Park.

Free of charge shuttle service for Conference guests will be available from National Car Park.
